2014-2015 Veteran's Day Assembly
    Thank-you....thank-you very much!!
The students, faculty and parents of Frankstown School are grateful to those who have served our country and fought for our freedoms.
The students and staff members at Frankstown Elementary School celebrated Veteran's Day on November 10, 2014.  In preparation for the day, the student teachers collected donations from each of the grade levels.  We were able to give two car loads of donations to Operation Support Our Soldiers (S.O.S.).
Lieutenant Colonel Scott Brenneman attended the assembly as a guest speaker and was given a small gift in gratitude for his time and service.  Additionally, veterans from the VA Home in Hollidaysburg were invited to attended as honorary guests.  Flowers from Kerr Creations were given to the veterans and VA home.
During the assembly, six fifth grade students conducted a folding of the flag ceremony.  Also, each grade sang a patriotic song to honor the veterans.  To conclude the assembly, all grade levels sang I'm Proud to be an American.
