Mrs. Jennifer MitchellAssistant Superintendent
Mrs. Jennifer Mitchell began serving as the Assistant Superintendent in July of 2020. Jennifer is a graduate of Juniata College having majored in early childhood and elementary education. She began her professional career in the Huntingdon Area School District as an elementary teacher. During her career, she also served as an elementary librarian and a K-8 instructional coach. Her graduate work was completed at Edinboro University in Administrative Leadership where she obtained her principalship. Mrs. Mitchell began her administrative career as a building leader and transitioned to an elementary principal. After receiving her Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, she moved into the central office role as the Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional development for the Mifflin County School District. It is now an honor to serve as a part of the administrative team in the Hollidaysburg Area School District. Jennifer and her husband Toby reside in Huntingdon where they enjoy the many outdoor activities the area has to offer. She is the mother of three children; Trevor, Taylor, and Jaelyn.
