School crossing guards are needed for the Hollidaysburg Area School District for the 2021-2022 academic year, beginning August 25, 2021.  Seasonal part-time positions as well as substitute positions are available. Candidates must have the Act 151 Child Abuse Clearances.  Positions to be filled will include both a morning and afternoon shift. Starting wage $9.50 an hour.  Interested persons may request and complete an application in the Hollidaysburg Borough Manager’s Office at 401 Blair Street, second floor.  To obtain clearances: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home.

The HASD School Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 4, 2021 has been cancelled. 

The next scheduled Board meeting will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Senior HIgh library.

The 2021 Lady Tiger Summer Basketball Camp will be held August 9th-12th for girls entering grade 3 - 8 in the fall.  Registration is required.  If interested, please contact deanna.jubeck@hasdtigers.com for the registration form.

Effective June 1, 2021, all board and committee meetings will be held in-person in the Senior High Library, 1510 N. Montgomery Street, Hollidaysburg PA and virtually for the public through the end of the 2021 calendar year.

Members of the public are welcome to register and join remotely.  Registration links will appear on the district homepage at www.tigerwires.com by 4 p.m. the day of each meeting.
