  • Parents, this is a reminder to have your child turn in an excuse when he or she is absent from school.  At the Junior High, we provide 3 verbal reminders and 2 warning notices when an excuse is not turned in.  When an excuse is not turned in after these notices and he or she accumulates 3 or more illegal days, you and your child will be asked to attend an Attendance Improvement Plan Meeting.  Additional consequences could be a truancy officer speaking with you at your home and possibly truancy court.  For your convenience, you can email the attendance secretary Sue Lascoli at sue.lascoli@hasdtigers.com or call her at 695-4426 extension 6501.

The Aevidum Club wants the school to be a comfortable place for students where everyone feels appreciated. Aevidum means  “I’ve got your back”.  The Aevidum Club shatters the silence that surrounds depression, suicide, and other issues facing youth.  We meet every other Monday in room 218 from 3:00-3:45. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Sell or Ms. Settimio.
