The School Psychologists' office is located in the Junior High School. The district currently employs three certified school psychologists, Erica Kaurudar, Robin Blair and Debra Ann Springer. The psychologists serve all the schools in the district through pre-referral intervention, consultation with staff and parents, and psychoeducational services.
Erica Kaurudar has been employed by the district since August of 2006. She earned a B.S. in Social Psychology, an M.S. in Psychology from Shippensburg University, and completed her School Psychologist Certification from Millersville University in May of 2006. She is currently working on her doctoral degree in School Psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Robin Blair has been employed with the district since 1998. She came to Hollidaysburg with 12 years of experience as a school psychologist in PA. Robin earned a BA in Psychology from Penn State University. She completed graduate training at IUP earning a M.ED in Educational Psychology and School Psychologist Certification.
Debra Springer has been employed with the district since 1999 having worked for the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 in various districts throughout Blair and Bedford Counties for 8 years prior to her employment with HAASD. She earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1988, an MS in School Psychology from Penn State University in 1990, and a PhD in School Psychology from Penn State University in 1997.
