...to FOT's Student Council Website. We hope you find this website gives you information about what events and projects the representatives are working on at Foot of Ten.
Student Council at FOT has always been a strong student organization. The representatives work hard each year to raise money for various school and community projects. The representatives raise money by running the Student Store.
For the past few years, we have been fortunate to raise additional money by having a Barnes and Noble night and McTeacher Night at McDonalds. A portion of the sales on a given night have been donated to FOT's Student Council. Barnes and Noble and McDonald have been very generous in their support of our Student Council. We thank them!
Over the years, the Student Council has participated in many worthwhile activities and purchased many items for the school and the community. Some of the activities have included purchasing a World Almanac Encyclopedia series for the library, tac strips for classrooms, trophies, ribbons, and a reward trip for the Daffodil Day celebration, teacher appreciation gifts, a park bench for the Duncansville park, donations to the Bob Bundy Scholarship fund, and various contributions to FOT families that have lost their home to fires.
Besides these activities, the Student Council sponsors other fun activities for the school. Activities have included special t-shirt days, Super Bowl contests, Red Ribbon Day contests, a talent show, Twin Day, and activities related to Read Across America Day.
Without the dedication and hard work of the student representatives, the Student Council would not be a strong organization!
