My name is Erin Stroz and I am the Sophomore guidance counselor for the 2011-12 school year. Before coming to the Senior High, I was the counselor at Allegheny #1 Elementary School. In the past I have worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) with children diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorders, and as a graduate assistant at Duquesne's School of Education Leadership Institute and IDPEL programs. I earned my B.S. in psychology at Penn State University and my M.S.Ed. in school counseling at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
I am originally from Martinsburg, and a graduate of Central High School. Now I live in Johnstown with my husband, stepson and three cats. I have been a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Blair county for going on five years. Some of my hobbies are cooking, reading, fishing, and spending time with my family. I look forward to meeting you and helping you along on your journey.
