Dr. Dobbie joined the administrative team in 1997 as the Reading Supervisor and in 2004 was promoted to Director of Elementary Curriculum. Prior to this, Linda taught in the Hollidaysburg Area School District as a Title I reading specialist and a grade seven developmental reading teacher.  She also worked in the Spring Cove School District as a reading specialist.

 

Dr. Dobbie holds seven Pennsylvania Certifications which include: Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, Elementary and Secondary Principal, ESL Program Specialist, Reading Supervisor, Reading Specialist, Secondary English.  Graduate work from Penn State University includes a Masters in Education and a B.S. in English.  A Doctorate degree in Administration and Leadership was acquired at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
