Dr. Paul Gallagher has been district superintendent since 1999. Prior to coming to the Hollidaysburg Area School District, he was an elementary and secondary principal in the Indiana Area School District for 15 years. Dr. Gallagher was a teacher in the Carlisle Area and South Middleton Township School Districts from 1976-84. He holds a Doctor of Education degree from Penn State University and Master of Education and Bachelor of Science degrees from Shippensburg University.
