Does Your Child Have a
Food Allergy or Intolerance?

The cafeteria will provide a food substitution for students who have disabilities and their disability restricts their diet.  Also, students who have food intolerances because of a medical reason can receive substitutions to the regular school breakfast and lunch.

Substitutions are made on a case by case basis.

If you feel that your child requires a food substitution your child’s cafeteria must have on file a signed physician’s statement stating: 1) the medical condition that restricts your child’s diet, 2) the food or foods that need to be omitted from their diet, and 3) the food or choice of foods that may be used as a substitution.

All requests for food substitutions must be updated yearly.

A medical statement for special dietary needs for the 2011-12
school year are due in our office by September 23, 2011.
